The Big Backyard The Big Backyard Learning Through Play Welcome The Big Backyard Nursery School is a cooperative preschool located in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia. Our school offers children a place to play and explore at their own pace in an environment that is just their size. The Big Backyard fosters the emotional social and intellectual growth of children by making each child feel safe respected and loved. At the Big Backyard parents actively participate in their childs preschool experience.
