THE MARCO EAGLE SANCTUARY FOUNDATION (MESF) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2010. OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS THE PRESERVATION OF THE AMERICAN BALD EAGLES AND THEIR HABITATS ON MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA.OUR MISSION IS TO WORK WITH THE CITIZENS OF MARCO ISLAND AS WELL AS, CITY, COUNTY, AND STATE ORGANIZATIONS TO GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF THE ACTIVE BALD EAGLE NEST ON THE MARCO EAGLE SANCTUARY ON TIGERTAIL COURT AND OTHER LOCATIONS AS NEW EAGLES RETURN TO A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. WE WILL WORK TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE MAJESTIC BIRDS AND HOW TO EXPAND THE BIRD POPULATION ON AN ISLAND ONCE KNOWN AS AN "EAGLE SANCTUARY."
