Join the Lafayette Square Conservancy The Lafayette Square Conservancy LSC is an allvolunteer nonprofit group dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Downtown New Orleans premier park in partnership with the Citys Department of Parks and Parkways. We strive for a wellused and wellmaintained public park which serves as an urban oasis for visitors residents and area workers. Dedicated to Revitalizing Maintaining and Improving Lafayette Square Lafayette Square was founded in 1788 and is the second oldest park in New Orleans.
