Itchy in MO needs a Foster! Meet Itchy a year old pup in need of a new name. He was found as a stray and is very ESy. He eluded being captured for a while and therefore is very thin and also recovering from skin issues, probably due to a flea allergy. His hair is now growing back nicely. While on the run, he seeked out kids to play with and while at first is shy with strangers, because he is very people oriented, warms up nicely especially if you have treats. He knows basic obedience but will need more work as he pulls on the leash. He has been exposed to savvy cats, goats and pigs and backs right off if he is too exuberant. He also takes corrections from other dogs very well. He will blossom in a home with or without children but sure loves them. If you are interested in fostering this good boy, please contact: Ann Cassidy at anncassidy7@gmail.com. (fb)

HOMER IN MO- Adoption Pending ! Homer is a floofy, goofy 5-year-old with a big heart, a fluffy coat, and a silly streak that will make you smile every day. He is approximately 65 pounds, neutered, and looking for his forever home. Details on Homer: • Affectionate and calm— he loves a good cuddle but is just as content lounging on his own. • Great walking partner— he doesn’t pull and is mindful of traffic. • Fetch pro— he’s obsessed with his squeaky ball collection and always ready for a game. • Polite and well-mannered— takes treats gently, and we haven’t had concerns about resource guarding. • Fully house-trained— no accidents at all. • Knows his basics— sit, down, and stay, and he’s working on even more commands. • Not reactive to cats— he mostly ignores the cats in his foster home. • Enjoys the outdoors— hikes, walks, and runs with his foster dog pals are highlights of his day. Homer gets along great with the smaller dog in his foster home, though he has shown some hesitation—like sometimes growling—toward the larger dog in the home. With proper introductions, he may warm up, but he’d likely do best with dogs his size or smaller. Homer’s foster family does not have children but he receives gentle pats from the neighborhood kids when on walks, and he lived with children in his previous home. This sweet boy loves to be nearby, but he isn’t needy. He likes to have a little attention and then lounge in the room while you go about your day. If you’re looking for a well-behaved, affectionate, and slightly silly dog, Homer is ready to meet you.
