ORGANIZATION FORMED TO STRENGTHEN THE CANCER RESOURCES AND TREATMENTS AVAILABLE TO THOSE IN WESTERN KANSAS; AND TO FURTHER THE RESEARCH NEEDED TO STRIVE FOR CURES OF ALL TYPES OF CANCER.

THIS will fill your heart ♥️ … 5th grade students at Lakin Middle School read the novel “The Lemonade War” that pits siblings against each other to see who can win a prize in a lemonade stand competition. At the conclusion of the novel, the students hosted a “Lemonade War” for a student-selected charity. Students were passionate about supporting cancer patients in Southwest Kansas and they selected The Leave a Legacy Foundation as the recipient of the proceeds from their lemonade stands.
