To prepare for three new exhibitions in May, we are temporarily closing our doors from April 7–May 1, 2025. While closed to the public, the Museum will undergo much-needed maintenance on the stone floors in the lobby as well as repairs to the cooling system, fenestration, and lighting systems. MMoCA reopens on May 2, with the opening celebration of the Wisconsin Triennial! Opening in State Street Gallery is a solo show by José Lerma, an established artist whose first museum exhibition was in the Wisconsin Triennial and Henry Street Gallery offers a selection of artwork from the Museum’s permanent collection acquired from past triennials.
