GLEAP is short for Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Program a 501 c 3 nonprofit allvolunteer organization that assists with utility bills transportation food medicine and housing needs for families within the Grand Ledge Public School District. Annually GLEAP serves over 400 families GLEAP is funded by donations from generous organizations churches and individuals. March 1 2024 GLEAP has a strong history of helping people make ends meet in times of emergency since the Gulf oil crisis of 1973.
