Discovery Park recently had a fun partnership with the pre-K classes at Union City Elementary School. In addition to participating in a greenhouse lesson during their field trip, our education team helped the students build a raised flower bed at the school. The flower bed will feature the herbs, flowers and vegetables that the classes planted in the Farm Credit Mid-America Greenhouses during their visit to Discovery Park a month ago. ... Jacob Tolliver, a piano master from Portsmouth, Ohio, takes the stage tomorrow night, May 23 at Discovery Park! Over 10 years ago, Jacob's viral YouTube video of him playing "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" in a hardware store caught the world's attention. That moment led to him being cast as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet and eventually opening for the legend himself.
