For the Love of a Horse is a non-profit 501(c)3, tax exempt organization registered in the State of Georgia comprised entirely of volunteers. We are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of equines, specifically those with critical-care medical care needs who would otherwise be euthanized.For the Love of a Horse is not a sanctuary or boarding organization. Instead we provide "rescue and rehabilitation" services for equines while keeping them in or seeking to find them proper qualified homes following their rehabilitation.Our mission is to provide these equines with a second chance at life and companionship.
