The Warnecke Institute for Art and Architecture The mission of the Warnecke Institute is to support artists of diverse backgrounds and abilities, by providing the time and place for reflective work within a natural environment. Warnecke Institute promotes the value of art and architecture as creative catalysts for social and environmental responsibility. The work of Warnecke Institute is comprised of two primary programs, Chalk Hill Artist Residency, and Warnecke Architectural Archives. Both programs are inspired by the vision of the late John Carl Warnecke, internationally renowned architect, and the current generations of Warnecke family. It is central to our mission to provide these opportunities to both abled and disabled artists.
