We are community of wilderness minded and hardworking individuals dedicated to bringing citizens and youth to wilderness to work, live, and play. The Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation assists the Forest Service in providing stewardship for the Selway-Bitterroot and Frank Church River of No Return Wildernesses and surrounding wildlands through on the ground work, public education, and partnerships.

What do you get when you mix crosscut saws, Forest Service legends, and dancing in a barn. The start of an unforgettable season in the wilderness. Our Wilderness Ranger Fellows kicked things off at the Northern Rockies Wilderness Skills Institute last week, where they were trained in traditional tools and trail maintenance, swapped stories by the Lochsa River, and kicked up their heels to some old-time tunes.

Montana friends. Join us this Sunday, June 1 for the Spring Into Summer event with our friends @wildmontana-Shining Mountains Chapter. We'll be meeting up at 1 PM at the Larry Creek Group Campground Picnic Shelter (near Florence, MT) for a BBQ, music, and wilderness community.
