Excellence Connection Inclusion Carmina Burana Carl Orff March 21 22 2025 800 PM The Long Center701 Riverside Dr Austin TX 78704 Carl Orffs Carmina Burana features captivating vocal solos intricate choral harmonies and rhythmic intensity exploring themes of love fate and the human experience with dramatic flair. A World Premiere of Canticum Novum written by Melissa Dunphy with words by Artistic Director Ryan Heller and Phillip Barnes to commemorate Chorus Austins 60th Anniversary will also be performed. Performed by our Symphonic Choir in concert with the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Southwest Voices Modern Masterpieces April 12 13 2025 400 PM Cherrywood Center 1605 E 38 12 St Austin TX 78722 We end our 60th Season with our celebration of contemporary music featuring pieces written for choir with string quartet and piano.
