Our 5th Saturday Breakfast was a truly uplifting experience! Thanks to Cherie Long and Forrester Financial for their generous grant that made this breakfast possible. Four hundred and five guests were treated to a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, sausage, bacon, orange juice, coffee and milk. A huge thank you to Saginaw Prepatory staff and students for hosting an inspiring book giveaway for our guests. It is always great to have the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority support! A heartfelt thank you to Jolt Credit Union and Kristin Novak for hosting a cake drive, a shining example of community spirit! They collected 1,000 cake mixes for our guests to enjoy mouthwatering desserts, a testament to the power of kindness. It takes around 52 cake mixes to make one day's worth of desserts, a remarkable feat. We are truly grateful for our community supporters. (fb)
