KIT's vision is that all children are welcomed, included and valued in community life. To that end, KIT provides learning opportunities that support recreation, child development and youth enrichment programs that include children with and without disabilities. KIT's values are: all children have the right to meaningfully participate in community activities; learning about inclusion enriches the lives of all who participate and increases understanding and acceptance of disabilities as a natural part of life; the lives of all children are enhanced through shared experiences and friendships with peers who may or may not have disabilities; and inclusion fosters self-determination for children with disabilities. KIT is committed to developing the capacity of individuals and organizations to embrace inclusion.
