Honestly, who's a better advocate for UH, and the COE than our own students? Our SMAP Ambassador, Paige, shares her perspective on this 4UHGivingDay 🤙 "Being a student at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa has made me appreciate being able to call Hawaiʻi home. It is the best place to form connections with others, grow as an individual, and to feel a sense of belonging. I feel so lucky to have been apart of a community that is so supportive and nurturing. My journey of pursuing my degree in Elementary and Special Education has been an influential experience that I will hold onto for the rest of my life. Throughout my years at UH, I have learned so much about myself and I can say that feel ready to turn the "Paige" to the next chapter of my life!" We so appreciate you, Paige! 💚 If you have the means, please consider giving! Your gift can spark transformative change in supporting student success, funding research that matters, caring for our environment, inspiring innovation and entrepreneurship, and building Hawai‘i’s workforce. No matter the size, every gift sends a powerful message that together, we will uplift our students, our campuses, and our entire Hawai‘i community. UH GIVING DAY is HERE! 🤙 Our SMAP Ambassador, Jewel, shares more about her experiences at UH Mānoa and some suggestions of what fund to give towards (if you didn't already have one in mind)!: "I'm beyond excited to be participating in the Spring 2025 commencement after SIX-years in the Learning Design and Technology program! My time has been full of incredible experiences and people who have shaped both my personal and professional growth. One person who significantly supported me in my journey was Dr. Christine Sorensen Irvine, my committee co-chair, who sadly passed in 2023. Please kindly consider making a donation in her honor on Giving Day by donating to the Dr. Christine Sorenson-Irvine Scholarship or any other LTEC fund. Mahalo! Mahalo for sharing, Jewel!
