Discovered Money is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that always volunteers to help nonprofits, schools and people find and obtain their Unclaimed Property or Unclaimed Money.Unclaimed Property represents money owe to consumers, nonprofits and schools that was paid to any business; after a certain period of inactivity with the business, this money is remitted to your state’s government where they hold it as a fiduciary. If an account with these businesses does not have activity, typically defined as being between one and five years, state law mandates your money be remitted to your state government for safekeeping.
