If you're planning to visit the Appalachian Forest Museum this weekend, please note that the Valley of the Ancients Trail and the spur on the Etawah Woods Trail are currently not passable due to high water. Recent rainfall has made several trails slick, muddy, and in some cases, flooded. Please use caution while hiking—wear proper footwear, watch your footing, and avoid crossing any areas with high water.
