We are proud to be professionally staffed by volunteers! TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TO 911 CALLS FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES IN CLOSTER, ALPINE AND SECTIONS OF PIP. PROVIDE PUBLIC EDUCATION OF CPR, FIRST AID RECERTIFYING LOCAL PD AND OTHERS ON CPR AND AED

Rescue Operations The Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps provides vehicle extrication and rope rescue services to Closter Alpine and the Palisades Interstate Parkway. Education Outreach We visit schools and attend community events to display our equipment and provide basic safety tips. We also certify community members in CPR and First Aid.

Today, members of the Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps participated in ceremonies in Alpine and Closter to remember those that made the supreme sacrifice for our country. Members transformed our boat into a River Patrol Boat to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Congratulations to our decorating committee for winning this year’s Mayor’s Trophy for our float.
