News
Today, members of the Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps participated in ceremonies in Alpine and Closter to remember those that made the supreme sacrifice for our country. Members transformed our boat into a River Patrol Boat to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Congratulations to our decorating committee for winning this year’s Mayor’s Trophy for our float. (fb)

Closter Ambulance and Rescue Corps How We Serve You Our Community Emergency Medical Services We are Emergency Medical Technicians prepared to handle lifethreatening situations including childbirth allergic reactions traumatic injuries and cardiac arrest. Rescue Operations The Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps provides vehicle extrication and rope rescue services to Closter Alpine and the Palisades Interstate Parkway. Education Outreach We visit schools and attend community events to display our equipment and provide basic safety tips. We also certify community members in CPR and First Aid.
