Dyna was able to visit some of the youth! 🥰 Haitian youth face widespread social barriers of fear and mistrust, which are aggravated by the low education rate. Uneducated men and women compare their illiteracy to blindness or like being an animal with a rope around its neck. The average Haitian has less than 5 years of schooling due to an inability to afford school fees, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty.
