Congratulations to Mandy Beilman at Central High School! Mandy received a 2025 Student and Staff Wellness Grant from the D51 Foundation. She used her grant funds to purchase a class set of the book "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" for her Student Senate Class. “With the support of this grant, the Student Senate class at Central High School will participate in a book study of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, which encourages them to promote positive mindsets, improve time management, strengthen relationships, boost clear communication, all while building self-confidence and life balance. Student Senate helps to lead the entire school, and sets the tone for many school events, so through funding this project, the entire student body at CHS will benefit.” - Mandy Beilman Since 2023, D51F has granted over $23,500 in Student and Staff Wellness Grants to 24 Mesa County Valley School District 51 staff members. The 3rd Round of Student & Staff Wellness Grants will be open February 15 – March 31, 2026.
