The Westwood School in Dallas A Montessori and IB school serving students ages 12 months - 12th grade. Our mission is to provide an exceptional education to its students though innovative, classic and groundbreaking educational techniques. Our passion is founded in the belief that every child's potential lies in the educator's ability to nurture the natural drive for learning. Students are not numbers at Westwood, they are world changers. They are taught to think of the world around them before themselves. They are schooled the art of community-mindedness and they are led to think for themselves. 100% of all Westwood Graduates not only go on to college, but we have a 100% college completion rate. Our students have an average of 280% college acceptance rate, compared to the national average of 65.5%. Our students learn in four languages and our student body represents over 43 countries - twice as many as the Dallas international school.Through our unique Montessori-IB integrated programming, our students learn to use their whole mind and body in the educational experience and are challenges with rigorous learning methods. Westwood students are not only prepared for college, they often excel in their class due to their maturation rate and workload ability. Universities often seek out Westwood students due to our success rate and student drive. Beyond all of the stats and figures though, is the drive to be world changers. Our students strive to live meaningful lives from day one. Our students are not taught to someday become stewards of the world around them, they are stewards the very first day they enter class.
