We take very seriously the responsibility of supporting and engaging systems to best serve every young person in their care. MFEI’s work centers systemic change that results in equitable access to resources and improved education experiences and outcomes for Black, Latinx, Indigenous communities, and students from non-wealthy families. We sit at many different cooperative tables with different stakeholders across the nation to develop theories and practices that move the needle on systemic change in service of institutional equity. We help networks and institutions plan proactively and create a culture that consistently strives toward continuous improvement.
