A nonprofit transforming the lives of young people through arts education Transforming the lives of young people through arts education. Founded by Tony Bennett and Susan Benedetto in 1999, ETAs mission is to increase equitable access to arts education in historically under-served schools. We work in partnership with public middle and high schools to provide: school-based programs to help principals and teachers develop sustainable arts programs and better leverage the arts to strengthen student learning and engagement; and direct out-of-school student programming to nurture youth development through arts training, college and career preparedness, and social-emotional skill building.

Exploring the Arts ETAs Family Dinner Benefit Exploring the Arts ETA was founded in 1999 by legendary artist Tony Bennett and his wife former publicschool educator Susan Benedetto. With Tony and Susans original vision for young people to experience the transformative power of the arts ETAs mission is to expand equitable access to arts education in historically underserved public middle and high schools. In addition to their flagship school Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School in Tonys hometown of Astoria Queens ETA currently partners with 55 public schools on both coasts and counting. .

Meet Angelina @rosienites one of our incredible AIP LA Alumni. 🙌 Angelina was part of our very first 2-year cohort, which kicked off in 2019 — and she persevered through the challenges of the pandemic with strength and creativity. In June 2025, Angelina graduated from UC Davis, earning her degree in Sustainable Environmental Design and a minor in Chicano Studies.
