Our Housing Breaking Grounds commitment to ending homelessness is brought to life through the buildings we own and manage. Whether by preserving historic landmarks or developing innovative new buildings collaborating with partners or acting on our own we create housing that is safe affordable and an asset to the surrounding community.

15 years ago, we gathered to celebrate the completion of our first permanent supportive residence in the Bronx. Today, The Brook continues to provide dignity and stability to 180 people who have overcome or avoided homelessness within its supportive and affordable apartments. And our commitment to the Bronx has only deepened, as we have added over 1,000 apartments across Mott Haven, Melrose, Morrisania, and East Tremont since then.
