Threads of Justice Collective Supporting young children in antibias education by facilitating conversations and efforts for collective action against oppression THE Problem The existence of bias racism and discrimination negatively impacts all childrens socialemotional development. It diminishes every childs potential in life and is dangerous and even life threatening for children of color and children in other targeted and marginalized groups. THE SOLUTION Teachers play a central role in childrens lives. When they are given the information and tools to counter bias and oppression they can be powerful participants and activists for change.
