WE ARE THE ONES WEVE BEEN WAITING FOR. Our mission Girls for Gender Equity GGE works intergenerationally through a Black feminist lens to center the leadership of Black girls and genderexpansive young people of color in reshaping culture and policy through advocacy youthcentered programming and narrative shift to achieve gender and racial justice. WHY BLACK GIRLS. We center Black girls and genderexpansive youth because we understand that when we center the most marginalized among us it benefits those around us.
