The American Optometric Student Association | Optometry Looking Forward

Improving the visual welfare and health of the public, promoting the profession of optometry, and enhancing the education and welfare of optometry students A national organization for optometry students run by optometry students. The mission of the American Optometric Student Association is “to enhance the education and welfare of optometry students, improve the visual welfare and health of the public, to promote the profession of optometry and a lifelong commitment to the AOA and AOA state affiliates.” The AOSA represents more than 7,100 optometry students attending the 25 schools and colleges of optometry throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
