The Decalogue Society of Lawyers is America's oldest Jewish Bar Association. It was founded in 1934 to promote justice in society and to advance and improve the law, the administration of justice and the legal profession. THE DECALOGUE SOCIETY OF LAWYERS, FOUNDED IN 1934, IS THE NATION'S OLDEST JEWISH BAR ASSOCIATION. ITS MISSION IS TO ADVANCE LAWYERS' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, RAISE THE STANDARDS OF THE BAR AND BENCH, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON LEGAL AND JEWISH ISSUES, AND MAINTAIN VIGILANCE AGAINST DISCRIMINATORY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PRACTICES, PARTICULARLY ANTI-SEMITISM. ALSO, SUPPORTING JEWISH INTERESTS THROUGH BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH ATTORNEYS AND PROFESSIONALS IN OTHER ETHNIC AND RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
