THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO ASSIST DISABLED AND WAR VETERANS WHO ARE IN NEED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, VIETNAM-ERA VETERANS, THEIR DEPENDENTS, WIDOWS, AND ORPHANS OF DECEASED VETERANS. ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO DEVELOP PUBLIC POLICY PROPOSALS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE VIETNAM-ERA VETERANS AND OTHERS, ESPECIALLY IN THE AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND HEALTH.
