Manchester Craftsmens Guild
The best in jazz since 1987. Manchester Craftsmen's Guild (MCG) comprises MCG Youth and MCG Jazz. The mission of Manchester Craftsmen's Guild (MCG) Youth is to inspire creativity, learning, and personal growth through the arts. It achieves this by providing afterschool studio arts programming. The mission of MCG Jazz is to preserve, promote, and present jazz. It achieves this through its live jazz concert series and music education programs. Both programs operate under three fundamental principles: 1) people thrive when they are treated as assets; 2) environment shapes behavior; and 3) creativity fuels innovation. MCG promotes cultural discovery by connecting diverse, accomplished artists to the community.
