How Learners Are Using OSM Data for Real-World Impact The power of data is in how it’s used and learners from the Humanitarian Use of OSM Data course are proving just that. From mapping flood-affected infrastructure in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Fiona, to assessing damage in Florida following Hurricane Ian, course participants are creating impactful, real-world maps that support disaster response and recovery. This free, self-paced online course has already attracted 1,051 participants from across the globe, with 207 earning certificates and contributing to open, humanitarian-focused data solutions.
