We were saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Michael Lower, an accomplished historian and educator. Michael joined us at The HC last July for “Hakoah: The Team that Defied the Nazis,” a riveting program about Hakoah Vienna’s Jewish soccer team. The unbreakable spirit and determination of the team left a lasting impact on Michael and his research. We were honored to have worked with and developed a friendship with Michael, and know he will be missed by many. May his memory be a blessing. (fb)
