Horses & Horizons TLC is a registered non-profit organization that has provided a special program of therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with disabilities since 1993. The purpose of this organization is to provide a safe and effective program of horseback riding for persons with disabilities, in the following manner: 1.) to use horseback riding as therapy to enhance or supplement other forms of therapy, 2.) to make the riding experience an enjoyable learning experience for all involved, and 3.) to promote the well-being of persons with disabilities through the provision of horseback riding, subject to the consent of their medical advisors or other appropriate professional counsel.
