TOPAZ ARTS, Inc. is a nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization founded in 2000 by Todd B. Richmond and Paz Tanjuaquio to support the creative process and foster new works in contemporary performance and visual arts. TOPAZ ARTS is a creative development center, offering affordable space, exhibitions and artist residencies, located in Woodside, in New York City’s borough of Queens. Transforming a warehouse into an inspiring space, the 2,500 sq. ft. facility is artist-designed, largely using sustainability concepts such as reused & recycled materials, incorporating a radiant heated sprung dance floor, and maintaining an organic roof garden. TOPAZ ARTS encourages artistic dialogue where collaborations can flourish and the process shared with our diverse community.
