Support students and staff working to improve underserved communities. Through 2021 , 58 students became "Jonny Scholars", awarding $268,000 in scholarships, and 36 teachers were recognized with our James McBride Teaching Award. We started our music outreach with a $17,500 grant to Little Kids Rock and over the years partner with the high school music programs at Foundation Academies and Creative Arts in New Jersey. Our work in environmental issues includes support for the mentoring programs at Bigelow Labs in Maine, Lacawac Sanctuary in PA , St Ignatius' Appalachian Trail hike for 8th grade Baltimore boys and the urgent solutions for clean water by Caminos de Agua in Guanajuato Mexico.
