Heart of Hospice Foundation

Heart of Hospice Foundation works to fulfill the needs and dreams of hospice patients and families. While insurance and Medicare pay for the basic components of hospice care, patients often have particular needs that are not covered; for example, financial hardship due to diminished income and special needs. To meet these needs and provide a fuller, more joyful hospice experience for our patients and families, Heart of Hospice Foundation runs three main programs: Joyful Hearts, Good Neighbor, and Life Celebrations. During 2023 the Foundtion helped 152 individuals and their family members. The Foundation's mission statement is to provide a fuller, more joyful hospice experience for our hospice patients and families serviced by Bristol Hospices by providing emotional and finical support where needed. In addition to the individuals and families served, the Foundation provided 92 holiday meals to hospice patients living at home and their family members.
