Upper Shore Genealogical Society of Maryland

The Upper Shore Genealogical Society of Maryland focuses on genealogical research activities in the Maryland counties of Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot, and is an important link for exchange of information between resident and non-resident genealogical researchers. We operate a research library with unique resources. The goals of the USGSMD are: • Encourage those interested in researching their ancestral heritage and promote fellowship and cooperation • Educate members & the public on genealogical information through meetings, seminars, workshops, and publications. • Provide a forum for sharing knowledge individual members have acquired in their own research. • Collect, preserve, and disseminate genealogical, biographical, and historical knowledge and information.
