The Empowerment Experiment Foundation

Follow Message Edit

Building on the economic justice efforts and speeches of Dr. King, and results of The Empowerment Experiment (EE) - the EE Foundation's founders historic, highly publicized yearlong stand and study only supporting Black owned firms - the mission is to counter social/ racial injustice with economic power in the form of increased and representative business ownership and success, jobs, role models, wealth. Led by author, academic, activist Maggie Anderson, it promotes, facilitates, advocates for enhanced entrepreneurship, business diversity, buying local, and conscious consumerism. She works with civil rights, business, faith, academic, and civic institutions on programming that 1) exposes and defies economic injustice/ inequality; and 2) creates economic unity, inclusion and empowerment.
