Rotaract provides an opportunity for Birmingham's young professional leaders to promote responsible citizenship, develop professional skills, and employ effective leadership by offering venues to learn from proven leaders, network with committed young professionals and serve the needs of the community.
Rotaract Club of Birmingham
The Rotaract Club of Birmingham is a 501(c)(4) organization focused on community improvement and capacity building through community service clubs. It was officially chartered by Rotary International on March 9, 2004, with the support and sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Birmingham.
Purpose and Activities
The club serves as a platform for young professionals to engage in leadership development, community service, and professional growth. Its mission aligns with the motto "Learn, Socialize, and Serve" by organizing events that foster networking, leadership skills, and community involvement.
Membership
Membership is open to young professionals aged 35 or younger who demonstrate a passion for service and leadership. Applicants are required to participate in a learning event, a social event, and a service event, as well as obtain endorsements from Rotary or Rotaract members.

As a nonprofit organization, the Rotaract Club of Birmingham's activities are primarily supported through program services. Donations made to the organization are not tax deductible due to its 501(c)(4) status.
