Founded in 1988 the IHC is celebrating 30 years as the only statewide antihunger advocacy organization. Find out more about the IHC Community Quality Councils The Community Quality Council CQC meetings are meetings coconvened by the IHC and management staff from the Illinois Department of Human Service IDHS local offices. List of Upcoming CQC Meetings SNAP Outreach The IHC SNAP Outreach and Enrollment team provides assistance with SNAP and Medical assistance applications and screens those potentially available for screenings in English and Spanish.
