The 2026 Magna Awards spotlight innovative district-led efforts to create healthier, more sustainable learning environments. This year’s awards focus on: 🌬️ Launching a new Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Management Plan 🌱 Demonstrating measurable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions 🏆 Awards will be given in three district size categories: Under 5,000 students; 5,000–20,000 students; and over 20,000 students Districts earn points through in-person and online training throughout the year. NSBA and the Go Green Initiative will recognize winning school districts at NSBA’s 2026 Annual Conference in San Antonio, April 10-12.
