Home - Peninsula Players - Door County Theatre Door Countys Premier Professional Theatre Theatre in a Garden Peninsula Players Theatre Americas oldest resident summer theater has a history which is as captivating as the plays staged at the theater during the past 89 years. And it began simply with two planks and a passion. Patrons have returned year after year drawn by the theaters tradition of providing exceptional professional productions of classic and contemporary literature. They are also delighted by the talent of its acting company and the theaters serene location in Door County along the shores of Green Bay.

Our Board of Directors recently honored Peggy Reineck Simpson for her six years of service to the Theatre’s board of directors. Managing Director Brian Kelsey and Board Chair Tom Birmingham presented Reineck Simpson with a plaque in recognition of her service. We extend our deep gratitude for her commitment to the community and the Theatre.
