TO FACILITATE A MORE EFFECTIVE COOPERATION AMONG TEACHERS AND RESEARCH SCHOLARS IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES, AND IN PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS OF SIMILAR GRADE, FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE INTERESTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, AND IN GENERAL TO INCREASE THE USEFULNESS AND ADVANCE THE STANDARDS, IDEALS AND WELFARE OF THE PROFESSION, AND TO SERVE AS THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGENT FOR FACULTY AND LIBRARIANS AT THE UNIVERSITY.

aaup:uc Become A Member Summary of Town Hall on SB1 February 3 2025 Thank you to the many many of you who attended the AAUPUC townhall on Friday. It was the highest attended virtual town hall to date. It obviously demonstrates that faculty are aware of and apprehensive about SB 1. Leadership at UC and across the state is activating.
