In pursuit of this goal, we conduct research, pilot new program models, promote best practices, and develop tools to help nonprofits work more efficiently.

Hunger is a foundational problem without addressing it many of the other challenges faced by our society from education to employment to poverty are simply insoluble. In any given year almost 49000000 people across the United States are faced with hunger or food insecurity while at the same time we as a nation throw away enough food to meet the need for assistance 1020 times over.
