New Direction Services Inc

New Direction Services was founded in response to the need to provide groceries to the elderly after finding out at a cooking class that they run out of resources to buy food every month when social security checks are used up on rent, utilities, medical etc. We provide other resources to our community including helping families to stay focussed on their health through eating healthy farm-fresh, local foods. We are partnering with local gardners and farms to donate fresh produce to our pantry for our families and elderly. We are purchasing farm fresh food from local farmers at the greenmarket and we promoting diabetic awareness, heart disease awareness, obesity awareness, smoking prevention and other health related issues to ensure our clients and their children get a healthy start.  The green scene is an opportunity for us to celebrate the green environment we are living in and because we are aware of our client's needs, we are helping them feed their pets also. Many hungry elderly and disabled clients have hungry pets also. Therefore we are helping their pets with pet food every month.
