Five things you may not know about #bostonswingcentral … 1. We have dances almost every Friday night in West Cambridge near Alewife at @qballroom — and have been for over 16 years! 2. We’re one of the most affordable, fun and interactive nights out in all of Boston. Tickets are $20 on average for several hours of live music, entertainment and dance! We also have volunteer slots for discounted admission. 3. You don’t need a partner or even know how to dance to have fun! We have a beginner lesson every week at 8pm with lots of people and chairs for you to sit and listen to the music if you’d rather not dance. 4. We have live jazz music most weeks, with a diverse set of bands and sounds, ranging from local artists to world-famous musicians like @gordonwebstermusic ! 5. Swing dancing is a really easy to learn hobby but also a great form of exercise and an excellent way to make new friends! Our community is very welcoming and supportive to all.
