Building the world's first monument celebrating the lives and sacrifices of all service animals. We are committed to building our country's first National Memorial dedicated to celebrating and honor To honor our nation's service animals and their handlers! Our mission is to give all service animals, including working animals, and their handlers recognition they deserve and to increase understanding and appreciation for their service. We are committed to growing public awareness and generating grass roots support to build the National Service Animals Monument and to create the NSAM Education Program for educators nationwide. Through a broad spectrum of collaborative efforts across the country, we will spotlight the unwavering human-animal bond and create an emotionally moving experience to commemorate our heroes and educate and inspire visitors of all ages.

National Service Animals Memorial More Than a Memorial an Experience Our vision for the National Service Animals Memorial is to create a moving and inspiring experience that is a mustsee destination in the nations Capital. We envision a parklike or city plaza setting with pathways leading to beautiful bronze sculptures of service animals depicting the many ways these amazing creatures aid and protect our nation and citizens. From working dogs and assistance animals to war horses and dolphins this monument will honor all service animals and inform visitors of their historical significance. Informational plaques and a mobile app will tell incredible true stories of these unsung heroes and the important roles they have played in events throughout American history.
