Classical Music Broadcast.com was founded on the premise, supported by evidence-based research, that everyone should have access to classical music and the benefits it provides. Beginning in 2005, Classical Music Broadcast.com has delivered web broadcasts and live streaming of classical music and opera to literally millions of people across the country.Classical Music Broadcast.com maintains a small operating budget, but our impact and reach is significant. Our most popular channels, Opera Music Broadcast and Classical Music Broadcast have 1.2 million listeners and 1,300 Facebook friends respectively. We present classical music across all genres. From the Middle Ages to the present, traditional and modern composers and performers are featured. Listeners can hear historical recordings of storied performances as well as the latest releases. In response to interest and demand, we plan to expand our offering to include even more live performances and, in partnership with local libraries, an educational program. Through our current and future programming, we remain dedicated to keeping classical music fresh and relevant.
