As we close out Women’s History Month, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary women, both past and present, who have shaped my journey. Their strength, resilience, and unwavering inspiration fuel not only my personal growth but also the transformative work we do at exalt. This month, I also achieved a personal milestone—completing my Doctoral work at NYU Steinhardt School of Education. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the unshakable support from the powerful network of women who uplift and empower each other every day. Women’s History Month serves as a moment to honor the pioneers who paved the way for us—but it’s also a call to action. We must continue to break down barriers to ensure that every person has the opportunity to live their fullest life and to reach their highest potential. At exalt, we are shaping the women leaders of tomorrow. We work with young women who often come to us on a path toward incarceration, and we watch them transform through education, workforce preparedness, and impactful internships. Our alumni are a testament to what’s possible: teachers, mothers, college graduates, social workers, law students, and entrepreneurs. We are proud to share their stories.
