Gregory's Fresh Market enriches lives by promoting healthy eating. Over 20,000 seniors and veterans receive bags of fresh fruits and vegetables each year. We are a mobile farmer's market that brings the market on-site to your facility. It was established to provide access to fresh produce to mature Americans living in senior residential communities and bring awareness to the benefits of healthy eating. Our mission is to enrich lives by providing access to fresh produce through on-site farmers' markets, and programs in health, nutrition, fitness, and education. Diana Gregory Outreach Services offers several programs with the Farmers Market under the Gregory’s Fresh Market brand. The vehicle will facilitate day-to-day activities and be used for these key programs: Seniors on the Move – Nutrition & Fitness Education Nourishing Seniors – Interactive Workshops that Teach Healthy Eating & Lifestyles Veggies for Veterans – Provide Homeless Veterans with Access to Fresh Fruits and Vegetables & Nutrition Education Grandparents Raising Grandchildren - Helping Grandparents Stay Healthy As They Raise Grandkids Nutrition for the Holidays - Over 2,000 seniors receive bags of fresh fruit
